What is a beta?

A beta is a pre-version of an upcoming official software release. Most beta products will have a core of well-tested and high quality technology. Beta protection is therefore in most cases even better protection than what is already released. However, there may occur unpredicted problems which can affect stability and performance, so in any circumstances you are running the beta at your own risk.

You will get: 

• The latest beta versions for free! We will make our latest components and updates available to you free of charge during the beta period. 
• An opportunity to shape the product for the future! Norman is continuously improving all products based on feedback from customers and the evolvement of viruses and malware.
  Now you can tell us what you would like to see in upcoming versions of Norman’s software. 
• A chance to win prizes! We wish to reward you for providing us with useful feedback. In front of some of our public beta releases we therefore arrange bugtrack competitions where you can win nice prizes. More details will be available on the web pages that describe the different beta programs.
