Getronics and Norman ASA have signed an extensive agreement regarding distribution and consultancy services in Norway. The two parties have already started conversations with larger customers, where Getronics and Norman will work together in a strategic alliance.
- This is an important part of our strategic investments within the area of IT-security. We picture a purchase of Norman products to the value of approximately NOK 5 million per year, says the manager for product administration Øyvind Olaussen in Getronics.
- It is of great importance for Getronics to be connected to a development environment with specialised competence within the areas of virus control and security. It is a comfort, both for our customers and us, to have close contact with developers that is situated close physically, says Øyvind Olaussen.
The agreement involves all of Norman's products, which cover a wide spectre of software within data security. The most important areas are advanced virus control, access control, certified deletion and reconstruction of destroyed data.
- This agreement is of great significance to us as Getronics is represented in all of the strategically important cities in Norway, says Bjørn Fosli, President and C.E.O. of Norman.
The agreement is a part of Norman's distribution strategy where all products are sold through distributors.
