Norman's subsidiary in Denmark has signed an agreement with a large Danish telecom company. Customers of this company will in the near future be able to subscribe for a security package which protects against intrusion and viruses. Norman will deliver products to a value of approximately NOK 3 million for the current year.
A partner agreement between a large Danish telecom company and Norman will secure all of the telecom company's customers against intrusion and viruses. The security package, which will be delivered by Norman, consists of Norman Virus Control, Norman Personal Firewall and Norman Privacy. Customers of the telecom company will be able to subscribe for the complete solution, which in addition to protection against intrusion and viruses, contains software for the encryption of sensitive data on the harddisk.
The telecom company will purchase these products from Norman on an on-going basis, to a value of approximately NOK 3 million for 2001.
The three products, which are included in the telecom company's security package, include the renowned Norman Virus Control, Norman Personal Firewall - software which gives the end user a solid firewall around its PC - and Norman Privacy - a product that among other things, secures e-mail by encryption.
