Norman Security Solutions AS has entered into an agreement with HP Consulting in Norway on risk analysis and information assurance.

Norman Security Solutions has entered into an agreement with HP Consulting in Norway within the area of Risk Analysis and Information Assurance. The agreement implies that HP Consulting will be using Norman RiskCheck in their focus on IT security.

- Information Assurance is the fastest growing field in the IT and security world, particularly as the global economy flourishes, technologies rapidly evolve, and companies develop IT strategies that ensure safe internal and external communication and protect them against cyber-crime. We have evaluated and attended training on the Norman RiskCheck software, and we see that it can be directly applicable in many of the customer projects that we are involved in, says Stein Aure, Business Development Manager in HP Consulting.

- This agreement with HP Consulting is an important step on the way for Norman Security Solutions to build a network of partners that will be responsible for the implementation of risk analysis for their customers. HP will use Norman RiskCheck as a tool to increase the efficiency of HP Consultings projects within data security/risk analysis for Norwegian companies and public administartion, says COO Anette Willumsen in Norman Security Solutions AS.

Risk analysis is a displined and proactive way to address the subject of IT-security. First you make a diagnosis and then you prescribe a prescription. Based on a completed risk analysis, the management is gaining increased awareness to the IT-risks and -security. Norman RiskCheck is an automated software solution on an overall risk analysis in an organization. The analysis has focus on IT-security but covers also other areas of security such as fire and physical security.
