Award winning Norman Virus Control secures Checkmark Certification from West Coast Labs
Norman ASA (www.norman.com), a world leader in the field of data security, has today announced that they have received the Checkmark Certification from West Coast Labs on their award-winning product Norman Virus Control.
Norman Virus Control for Windows 98, Lotus Notes, NetWare, Windows 2000 Professional, OS/2 have all been certified to Anti-Virus Checkmark, Level One. This gives a clear and independent indication to end users that Norman Virus Control can be relied on.
Several of Norman’s Virus Control products have recently passed the Westcoast Checkmark Certification. The Checkmark is a system that establishes a standard for computer security products, tests them against that standard and then produces a certificate that shows that they meet the standard. The Checkmark system is operated by West Coast Labs, an organization with both specialist knowledge and equipment.
