Norman ASA's Swedish subsidiary, Norman Sweden AB has signed an agreement with the Swedish company Tele2. Tele2 will offer the antivirus product Norman Virus Control version 5 to all of their Internet- and broadband customers in Scandinavia.
Tele2 will offer their clients wich have a Tele2Internet-subscription the download of the Norman Virus Control software free of charge.
- This is a big step for Norman to be chosen as a partner to the biggest Internet operator in Scandinavia. We will now reach out to a substantial numbers of users and will increase our market share considerably says Dick Andersson, Managing Director of Norman Sweden AB.
Norman Virus Control is a collection of anti-virus programs and utilities that protects workstations and servers against malicious software like computer viruses, worms and trojans. The program is easy to install and manage in networks and is almost invisible to the end-user in his daily work. You can also update the program through an automatic Internet update. In addition all program components can be automatically updated over the Internet. Norman Virus Control has also received the last two 100% awards from the magazine Virus Bulletin and was chosen as "Editors Choice " in Personal Computer world, a recognised UK IT publication.
