The Data Security Company Norman ASA announced today that Norman will supply components to its Norman Virus Control for Microsoft Exchange 2000.
Microsoft has now released Service Pack 1 for Exchange 2000, which makes available a new programming interface for virus scanners, for use by the virus control industry. This will make possible new virus scanning technology for Exchange 2000 far more efficient than today's solutions.
Norman ASA has taken part in the work with Microsoft leading up to the new interface, and also taken part in the testing of this. Norman will supply components to Norman Virus Control for Exchange 2000, utilizing the new interface, in Q3 this year.
