The information security company Norman ASA has signed an ISP agreement with Tiscali in Sweden. Tiscali will offer their Internet- and broadband customers a complete data security package from Norman consisting of Norman Virus Control, Norman Personal Firewall and Norman Privacy.
This is the third agreement that Norman has signed with Tiscali companies in Europe. Until now, Tiscali Germany and Tiscali Norway have both chosen to cooperate with Norman. Tiscali is one of Europe's biggest and fastest growing ISP-companies with more than 16 million users.
- The market for broadband services is increasing and among our highest priorities is to provide our customers with maximum security. After a comprehensive evaluation we have chosen to go for three very stable and good products from Norman. We can now offer a complete security solution which meets the demands of our customers, says Fredrik Brandt, VP Marketing in Tiscali Sweden.
The security package includes Norman Virus Control, Norman Personal Firewall, an application that gives private users a secure firewall around their PC, and Norman Privacy, an application that provides secure e-mail encryption, among other things. Tiscali will give their customers access to the latest versions and updates of the Norman software and support through Norman's Swedish support organisation.
Data security has during the last year become one of the most important issues for the ISP-companies. We are therefore very happy that our three biggest security products form a complete security solution also for Tiscali's customers, says Dick Andersson, Managing Director of Norman AB.
