The Data Security Company Norman ASA has today announced that they have entered into an agreement with the Finnish Internet Service Provider (ISP) Nettiportti, which will include the Norman Virus Control and Norman Personal Firewall in their "dna Internett" product to customers.

Nettiportti will include the Norman Virus Control and the Norman Personal Firewall in its new product family called dna Internet. The value of the data security products to end-users will be 160 euros. The agreement between Nettiportti and Norman is valid until the end of 2002 and will be renewed yearly. Nettiportti has the aim of becoming one of Finland's four leading ISPs and to have 70 000 to 80 000 homes as customers by the end of 2002.

By using them, home users will not need to worry about viruses and hackers anymore, says Mr. Pentti Tuovinen, CEO, Nettiportti.

- We are happy to see that we also have a breakthrough in the ISP market in Finland, where one of our competitors has a strong brand. So far we have signed ISP agreements in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany, says Bjørn A. Windfeldt VP Marketing in Norman ASA.
