Lysaker, 21 September 2001
The Data Security Company Norman ASA received its third 100% Virus Bulletin awards in a row in 2001.
In the September issue of the Virus Bulletin Magazine antivirus products are tested on the Novell NetWare platform. The Virus Bulletin tests how good the different products are at detecting viruses known to be 'in the wild'.
- This is the third Virus Bulletin 100% award out of the three possible Norman Virus Control version 5 has received so far during 2001. In addition, there are only three vendors that have received 14 or more 100% awards within the timeframe Virus Bulletin has tested antivirus software. This shows that with the focus that Norman ASA is now giving to virus control products, we are now are able to compete and often do better than the more larger competitors, says Henning Hansen, President and CEO of Norman ASA.
Virus Bulletin is the technical journal on developments in the field of computer viruses and anti-virus products. For more information: www.virusbtn.com.
