Norman Virus Control is elected as test winner in the latest issue of the German computer magazine PC Welt.

The leading German computer magazine PC Welt has in the latest issue (4/2002) tested antivirus software for Windows ME and XP. Norman Virus Control (NVC) from the Norwegian data security company Norman ASA was elected as test winner in the category of best price/performance.

All leading antivirus software participated in the test, a total of 12 products. Only two of the programs were able to detect all the viruses “In The Wild” on both platforms. Norman was one of these two. The test was carried out by the virus center at the University of Magdeburg, which is one of Europe’s leading experts in the field.

- Together with the tests from Virus Bulletin this proves the quality in Norman Virus Control, says VP Marketing Bjørn A. Windfeldt in Norman ASA.
