PRESS RELEASE
Oslo, February 4 2003

Norman ASA has received yet another Virus Bulletin (VB) 100% Award. This is Norman's VB award number 20, and confirms Norman to be in the upper league in detecting viruses.

"As the virus threat is continually changing, you should look for products that have achieved a succession of VB 100% awards, rather than just one or two. Developers that can best keep their products up to date are more likely to receive VB 100% awards", says Virus Bulletin in its introduction to this prestigious award.

The February 2003 issue of the magazine Virus Bulletin tested antivirus products on Windows NT platform where 25 different products were tested. Virus Bulletin's tests are among the most renowned international studies of antivirus products' capability to detect rampant viruses. Norman Virus Control has now received 20 awards since Virus Bulletin introduced these tests in 1998. This ranks Norman among the leading players in the antivirus industry./p>

The British magazine Virus Bulletin is regarded as the most professional and unbiased publication that monitors the AV industry.

The VB 100% logo is awarded to products that detect all In the Wild viruses during both on-demand and on-access scanning in Virus Bulletin's comparative tests. For more information, please refer to: http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/archives/products.xml?norman.xml
