Norman, announces that Norman Virus Control v5.7 received top ratings in the Dutch computer magazine, Computeridee.

Computeridee is a computer magazine targeted at consumers, with bi-weekly issues.
Norman Virus Control v5.7 was selected among several other antivirus software programs on the basis of a good scanner, with an interface giving an intuitive and good overview.

Norman Virus Control is an easy-to-use solution with the best price/performance ratio.
Norman Virus Control v5.7 also uses the Norman SandBox. The Norman SandBox enables detection of viruses and worms before signature files have been released. The simulation of computer environments to detect unknown malicious software protects the users at an earlier stage than ever before. The Norman SandBox technology represents a milestone in non-signature based detection of new, unknown viruses and worms.

"We are very pleased to receive this best-in-class award," says President and CEO, Henning Hansen at Norman ASA. "This award is yet another confirmation of Norman’s strong products in the antivirus security market. Norman is one of the top 4 vendors of antivirus software in Holland, showing how important the Dutch market is for Norman and we therefore appreciate very much Norman Virus Control’s recognition in this market".
