As many others, 9Telecom’s customers had a hard time last year (2003) with virus attacks. As a solution to this problem, 9Telecom decided to offer their affiliates antivirus from Norman.

Recent virus attacks have resulted in significant damage to Internet-users all over the world. 9Telecom’s users will receive an offer to download Norman Virus Control v5.7 which will protect them against these threats. The solution is dedicated to customers running Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems and includes Norman’s SandBox v2 technology, which stops and protects against new, unknown viruses and worms on a real-time basis.

With this solution 9Telecom takes a greater degree of responsibility regarding the content delivered to customers over the Internet. This will protect 9Telecom’s customers against the ever-increasing number of viruses, worms and other types of malware, sent over the net. Norman Virus Control will be included in 9Telecom’s subscription for 6 months.
