A new version of the email worm Sober is now massively seeded over email. This version of the Sober worm spreads through emails and is likely to infect a high amount of users.

- The users will not necessarily notice that they are infected. The worm can cause damage by interrupting ongoing antivirus processes, making your system more vulnerable and tricking your system into believing that your system is clean when in fact it is infected, says senior virus analyst Snorre Fagerland at Norman ASA

This is the 22 version of the Sober worm. The email is either in German og English with file names suchs as pword_change.zip, screen_photo.zip or Privat-Foto.zip.
