Are Føllesdal Tjønn has been appointed as new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in the data security company Norman ASA. Føllesdal Tjønn has previously been employed as Senior Vice President in IT and Human Resources in Aker Yards ASA. Føllesdal Tjønn has broad experience from IT and management of software development.

Følledal Tjønn will start in a new position as CTO and will among other tasks manage the department of research and development (R & D). The appointment is part of a strategy to strengthen R & D in a period of high activity and fast deliverance of products. Norman is currently completing its development of the next generation’s antivirus solutions and  products for new customer segments.

- Norman is a world-leading company within the field of data security solutions. My goal is to enforce this position at the same time as we will aim to be a trusted and predictable vendor for new and existing customers, says Føllesdal Tjønn who emphasises the importance of a close relationship with customers and partners.
