Norman Virus Control has received yet another 100 % award from the renowned Virus Bulletin Magazine. This time the test was performed on Linux platforms.
Norman Virus Control was tested on Red Hat Linux 9 and received the 100 % award for its ability to detect and stop viruses and other malware.
The test set was used aligned to the most recent Wild List available which was the December 2005 list.
- Linux is a rapid growing marked in the IT security branch and there is a strong need for effective protection solutions in this area. Our goal is to design and create good solutions for this growing group of Linux users, says VP marketing and business development Audun Lødemel at Norman ASA.
So far, Norman solutions have received more than thirty 100 % awards from Virus Bulletin Magazine.
