PRESS RELEASE
Oslo, 25th January 2007

Norman, one of the world’s leading antivirus companies, will supply Nordea’s online customers with antivirus software. Nordea will offer all 1.8 million Swedish online customers antivirus and antispyware software based on Norman’s proactive SandBox technology, and Norman’s personal firewall, free of charge for Nordea’s customers.

Through the agreement with Norman, Nordea can offer its customers a significantly improved security solution. The customers get access to Norman’s proactive antivirus technology, with a fast and efficient virus-scanning function and protection against harmful spyware. The SandBox technology is based on firstly analysing files in a safe environment so any malicious code can be identified well in advance of it running “live" in the customer’s computer.

“No software can protect online users from fraudulent e-mail, but we offer them world class proactive security software. Our proactive protection and our analysis tools have been selected by the Swedish defence, researchers and Microsoft among others, and we are proud that Nordea also selects our solutions," says Thomas Thard, managing director of Norman Sweden.

All of Nordea’s online customers can get the security package through the protected web site at Nordea’s online bank. Under the agreement, Nordea’s customers receive free updates and free phone support for one year with an option of renewing.
