Norman’s security software have completed a comprehensive testing program for antivirus, antispyware and personal firewall and have achieved OESISOK Certification.

September 4, 2008, Oslo, Norway — Norman ASA, the data security company, today announced that it has completed the OESISOK certification program. This certification provides Norman prospects and customers with independent verification that Norman’s security software for single and corporate users operate seamlessly within a network’s existing connectivity framework. The certified antimalware products include Norman SandBox, the world leading proactive antimalware solution.

The OESISOK certification is for the three security categories, antivirus, antispyware and personal firewall. The certified antimalware products include Norman SandBox, a proactive technology designed to resolve the daily capture of thousands of unknown threats such as trojans, virus and spyware, which is essential in the daily battle against cyber crime.
