Anti-virus leader appoints distributor to build channel opportunities for VARs and system integrators

Software security specialist Norman Data Defense Systems has strengthened its UK channel presence by signing Electronic Frontier as a key distribution partner.

Norman sees the appointment as fundamental to its strategy of building a strong, growth-focused channel with like-minded business partners. The company, which has been in the UK security software market since 1998, is expanding from its core specialism to add dynamic anti-spam and anti-spyware products to its portfolio.

Electronic Frontier is a £3.5 million business which specialises in broadband, VoIP, network infrastructure, and security solutions for business. The company is well-known for its close working relationships with vendors as well as service providers, VARs and systems integrators.

Norman has established a strong reputation for delivering innovative and proactive anti-virus solutions for corporates, SMEs and home users. Its Sandbox anti-virus simulation technology enables users to proactively defend their networks against viruses and other malware instead of relying on the more traditional signature-based monitoring.
