Norman Network Protection (NNP) is operated through a web interface. Fast and easy information about the network and the malware situation is easily obtained. The operation center not only gives information about the status and the possible configurations of the unit but also comprehensive network information.

All connections going through Norman Network Protection are logged with detailed information.
The traffic statistics option transforms the logs to a graphical statistical overview:

  • Protocol type
  • Most active IP-addresses
  • Traffic histogram per day, month or custom date range
  • Reverse DNS look-up
  • Logfile download option
  • Quick overview of system resources with real-time view of CPU, memory and network load

Blocked URLs

Blocked URLs are “paths” where malware has been detected by NNP. Typically a path can be on internal servers in your organization's network or external servers on the Internet.

If NNP detects that an infected file is being transmitted from a server in your network, the absolute path will be added to the Blocked URL list.
