While running a scan with Norman Ad-Aware my anti Virus scanner finds a virus in a location that looks something like this:
C:/DOCUME~1/<User_name>/LOCALS~1/Temp/AAWTMP/<
Random_number>/<Random_number>/NASTYVIRUS.exe
(on one line)
Norman Ad-Aware copies some executable to a temporary location to scan them, whilst the copying process is taking place your Anti Virus scanner may see the file activity, and detect the virus. Norman Ad-aware should then delete the files when it has completed the scan, you should exclude the temprary folder Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\<User_name>\Local Settings\Temp\AAWTMP from On-demand scanning by antivirus software.

- Add the path to the file or folder that you want to exclude, ie C:\Documents and Settings\<User_name>\Local Settings\Temp\AAWTMP
