When the software is installed by using the msi package Norman Ad-Aware uses a local path for the definitions file. You have to replace it with a file containing the correct UNC path to the share where you plan to distribute the definitions file from.

The file you should replace on the workstations is the settings.awc. You’ll find it in C:\Documents and Settings\"Username"\Application Data\Norman\Ad-Aware

You can replace this by using the xcopy command in a logon script, or your management software of choice.
