As of NIC version 5.81 the option for installing/uninstalling the Norman Personal Firewall product has changed location in the Configuration Editor from Norman Virus Control | Components to Install and update Products.

To uninstall or install the NPF product from NIC 

1. Right click the N tray icon 
2. Select Configuration Editor 
3. From the Install and update products section, unselect the product Norman Personal Firewall. 
4. Save your configuration 
5.  Wait a few minutes, then restart the computer
