Problem:

After installing/upgrading to Norman Personal Firewall 1.41/Norman Internet Control 5.7, the CPU utilization and the Netsh process is very unstable.

Solution:

A patch is included in NPF version 1.42 and later. On NIC installations the patch will be installed automatically when you run Internet Update.

Download and install this patch to solve the problem on NPF stand-alone installations (Windows XP only).

NOTE: The update will not be effective until you restart your computer.
