Go to the Firewall console (you may be prompted for your password,) select Parental control and then Web site filtering settings, select Add, and add the URL that you wish to block, the URL needs to be in its full format i.e. http://www.moredirtypages.com/

If you wish to block specific words from within a web site (this may be the best way of stopping any sites you do not wish to visit because search engines always repeat the search in the address bar) then the procedure is similar. You go to the Firewall console (you may be prompted for your password), select Parental control and then Web site filtering settings, select Add and add the word you wish to block (yet again we will use Manchester as an example).

Add the following:

"Manchester"
*Manchester
Manchester

Please note that the blocking is case sensitive, so you would have to then add the following:

"manchester"
*manchester
manchester

Note the inverted commas on example one, and the star immediately in front of example two.

It is worth using all known permutations of the word(s) you wish to block and include possible alternative spellings.

CAUTION - selecting the default list will display the full list of offensive words and sites that Norman scans for, by definition these lists will contain offensive and explicit material.
