Problem description

There is a red blinking cross over the N tray icon. The mouseover text says Internet Protection is not running.

Problem solution

The Internet Protection module is startet automatically during system startup. If the N-icon loads before the Internet Protection module has finished its startup routine, you might notice the blinking cross. If it dissapears within a few minutes you don’t need to take any action. If it does not dissapear by itself, use the built in Repair mechanism: N-icon | Norman Security Suite | Support Center | Automatic repair
