Problem description
How do I temporarily disable Norman Personal Firewall?
Problem solution
Windows XP and Windows 2000
Right click the N-icon, select Disable personal firewall.
Windows Vista
The Disable personal firewall option is not accessible from the tray menu if Windows Vista User Account Control (AUC) is enabled, which is default. However, you can disable it from the graphical user interface. Right click the N-icon, select Norman Security Suite | Personal firewall | Disable.
Note:
The firewall will be automatically re-enabled at next system startup for all operating systems.
