Problem description
I get the following error message when running Internet Update:
Configuration error: Requested component files are either non-existing or inconsistent with your authentication key.
Problem solution
There might be different reasons for this error message.
a) Your authentication key is currently restricted to Norman Virus Control/Norman Internet Control version 5.9x, and not yet enabled for upgrade to Norman Security Suite
Solution
If you installed Norman Security Suite by mistake, please uninstall it, reboot your PC and install the product covered by your license (probably Norman Virus Control or Norman Internet Control 5.90).
If you are unsure if your authentication key is eligble for upgrade to Norman Security Suite, please contact your local Norman office.
b) Your authentication key does not cover all Norman Security Suite modules that you are trying to update
Solution
Select N-icon | Norman Security Suite | Install and Update | Configure | Products. Deselect the products that your license does not cover.
If you are unsure which products are covered by your license, please review your license papers, or contact your local Norman office.
