Problem

I have installed NVC for Mimesweeper, created a content scanner scenario and restarted the Mailsweeper Infrastructure service. Still no viruses are detected.

Solution

We have seen this problem on installations where the configuration is not replicated correctly between Mailsweeper’s client- and server directory.

Make sure that you click the save button in the Mailsweeper Policy Editor when configuration changes are done. Otherwise the installation may give you the impression that changes are saved successfully even when they are not.
