When upgrading NVC for Mimesweeper, the installation program checks whether a previous version is already running. If an old version of NVC for Mimesweeper is detected, it will be uninstalled, and you have to run the installer again to install the new version.
We have received some reports indicating that previous versions of NVC for Mimesweeper have not been succesfully uninstalled. In these cases, Mimesweeper will give error messages and/or crash during startup. To correct this problem, the NVC for Mimesweeper dll should be unregistered and registered again manually by issuing the following commands:
\Norman\NVCMimesweeper\regsvr32 /u nmavcm.dll
\Norman\NVCMimesweeper\regsvr32 nmavcm.dll
