As of version 5.5 of NVC for Exchange 5.5, it is required that NVC 5.x (file scanner) is installed on the same server. NVC for Exchange will no longer run or update as a stand-alone product.

Run Norman Internet Update manually or schedule it to update both your file scanner and your email scanner. Within ten minutes after the download has completed NVC will automatically have installed the updates.
