Problem:

NIU seems to run without problems, but FireBreak is not updated with new signatures.

This problem may occur when NIU is configured to download updates for other Norman products and other platforms than Novell NetWare

Solution

  1. Configure NIU to only download FireBreak updates
    Products: NVC for Servers
    Languages: English
    Platforms: Novell NetWare 
  2. Run NIU. When the download is complete, check in the NIU panel that the version number is updated to 1.10.1. 
  3. You may now reconfigure NIU according to your preferences to download updates for multiple products and platforms.

This fix is included in FireBreak version 4.70 release 2 (FB470_R2) and later.
