For compatibility reasons previous versions of Norman’s Administration Tools (NDesk, NIUcf, SelfXWiz) will be removed from the ...\Norman\Nvc\Bin directory in the installation when upgrading to NVC v5.8. Thus error messages will occur if you have created shortcuts to any of these tools.

If you run previous versions of Norman Administration Tools after upgrading to NVC v5.8, the following error message appears:

The procedure entry point_NvcOemGetResourceIds@4 could
not be located in the dynamic link library noemrc.dll

Immediately after downloading NVC v5.8 through Internet Update, we therefore recommend you to download and install the Administration tools for NVC v5.8. Note that the Administration tools in NVC v5.8 are residing within the folder ...\Norman\Bin and not ...\Norman\Nvc\Bin as in earlier version.
