Problem

After installing/upgrading to NVC v5.82, the Zlh and/or the Zanda component fails to start.

Detailed description

eLogger reflects errors like

Zlh.exe NupdOpen: NrmQueryNormanPath(NPATH_TEMP,...) returned 00150002h

Solution

If this is a network and the installation has been done through NDesk or Selfxwiz, please make sure that you are using the latest version of the Administration tools for Norman Virus Control.

If the problem persists, this may have something to do with the NVC v5.82 way of interpreting environment settings for TMP and TEMP. In this case we recommend that you download and install Exp120906_all_lang.exe.

Note:
This patch will require a computer restart to be effective. Do not restart the computer before the program instructs you to.
