Problem

After installing NVC v5.90 on a distribution server in a network, the distribution folder and the clients in the network update fine, but the distribution server does not retrieve updates for its own local installation.

Solution

Delete the file Norman.ndf from the ...\Norman\Distrib\Download and ...\Norman\Download directories.The server should now update again within a couple of minutes.

If the Norman.ndf file does not exist, or deleting it does not solve the problem, please make sure that Niucf is configured according to the recommendations in the Administrator's Guide.
