Problem

After upgrading to NVC 5.90 one or more of my file servers freezes/hangs with irregular intervals.

Description

Several different issues were involved here, and various updates were released as patch installers and Norman Internet Update downloads.

Solution

On Access scanner released as a Norman Internet Update on Norman's download servers 22 August 2007 or later solves all known problems regarding the server freeze issues in the initial Norman Virus Control version 5.90 release.

Run an Internet Update to download the latest components available on Norman's download servers.
