Bij Norman Virus Control versie 5.90 moeten nieuwe admintools waaronder een nieuwe Ndesk worden gebruikt om NVC te beheren en uit te rollen naar de cliënts. U moet de nieuwste AdminTools downloaden en installeren om probleemloos NVC te kunnen pushen.

Na installatie van NVC draait de software niet.
Het kan voorkomen dat na de installatie van zelfs de meest recente versie van NVC op een HP/CompaQ-computer met Windows XP Home vooraf geïnstalleerd, de software niet goed draait. Zelfs na herinstallatie of reparatie lijkt alles goed te moeten gaan werken, maar na een herstart is dit nog steeds niet het geval.
