During the last few months the number of so called Greyware has increased massively. Greyware reefers to antispyware utilitites that force themselves into the users' machines by scaring the users and by auto-installing programs.

Antispyware utilities like SpyAxe and SpywareStrike are programs that auto-install themselves without the users’ approval. Many of them are scaring users into buying their products usually by sending false spyware warnings to the users’ computers. The warnings are saying that there is a high risk of data loss and advising the users to by a specific anti spyware product.

These companies have no correct contact information, they can not be reached through any phone numbers and they have fake company logos.
