Virus Bulletin 100% Awards 2005

In 1998 the well-respected magazine Virus Bulletin started issuing a "100% award" to the virus control products which find 100% of all viruses "In the Wild" in the magazine's comparative tests. Presently the test is carried out every second month.

Virus Bulletin says this about this award:

"The Virus Bulletin 100% awards recognize those products best able to detect viruses known to be 'in the wild'. Unlike some other similar-sounding schemes, Virus Bulletin uses the most up-to-date WildList in its tests. This means that products that are 'up with the game' are the the ones most likely to be granted VB 100% awards."

In October 2005 products for Windows 2003 server were tested and Norman received its 30th 100% award for Norman Virus Control.

In August 2005 products for Novell Netware were tested and Norman received another 100% award for Norman Virus Control Firebreak.

In June 2005 products for Windows XP were tested and Norman received the 100% award for Norman Virus Control for Windows XP.

In April 2005 products for Red Hat Linux 9 were tested. Norman received yet another 100% award for Norman Virus Control for Linux.

In February 2005 products for Windows NT were tested. Norman Virus Control received yet another 100% award.
