Norman ASA signs OEM agreement with Dell

Lysaker, February 25, 2009 – Dell and Norman, a world leader in anti-malware technology, have signed an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) distribution agreement for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) which will allow Norman Network Protection (NNP) to be bundled with Dell hardware under Norman brand. The agreement will allow partners and distributors to offer a fully supported, end-to-end antimalware solution, by delivering Norman Network Protection pre-installed on Dell CR 100 and PowerEdgeTM 1950 appliances.

NNP provides a web based management and information system which instantly presents general network traffic statistics and detailed incident information including blocked URL’s and Malware identification. It includes Norman’s award winning proactive technology Norman SandBox™.
