Norman ASA Names Torgny Gunnarsson As New CEO & President

Norway, Oslo – May 20, 2010.
"We are very excited to announce that Mr. Torgny Gunnarsson will start as CEO & President of Norman on May 24, 2010", says Norman Chairman Frode Strand-Nielsen.
Mr. Gunnarsson brings over 20 years of international experience from the IT industry, predominantly within security software. Mr. Gunnarsson joins Norman from Symantec where he most recently held the position as Vice President EMEA for Symantec Hosted Services.
During his total 14 year tenure with Symantec, Mr. Gunnarsson held various executive and senior management roles. Mr. Gunnarsson was also responsible for establishing Symantec into the Nordic market in the early 90’s. Prior to his most recent role, he was Vice President Global Strategic Partners & Alliances in EMEA and before that, Regional Vice President for Northern Europe.
Born in Sweden in 1965, Mr. Gunnarsson has a Diploma in Economics and Marketing from IHM Business School and holds an officers rank in the Swedish Armed Forces.
Together with his wife and their two children, Mr. Gunnarsson will continue to live in London for the time being. He will commute weekly to the Norman offices in Oslo, Europe and the US.
The Board is delighted to have hired Mr. Gunnarsson as the new CEO & President of Norman and strongly believes that he will lead the organization to new achievements and take Norman to its full potential.
