Considerations when upgrading Npro 8.10 to 9.x in larger environments

If you are running network with more than 200 managed Npro-clients the Norman Endpoint Manager(NEM)-console might be unresponsive for some time, how long depends on the number of managed clients.

The reason for this is that all the clients will try to download approximately 150MB from the NEM-server and while this is happening all the communication slots towards the NEM might be busy, resulting in the web page not showing as it tries to connect to the NEM over a slot with the
same priority.
