Norman SecureBox - Severe issue with iWorks2013 when saving to a Vault

Problem description

All iWorks documents opened with the 2013 versions of iWorks applications can be corrupted. A ZIP file with metadata inside the iWorks documents is corrupted, once this ZIP file is corrupted documents can no longer be opened. At this point we do not yet know if is it possible to recover from this situation. If the file originated from the Vault, it can be recovered from revisions or from backup.

 

Solution

We have full priority on resolving this issue immediately. In the meantime we urge not to create and save iWorks2013 documents directly to a vault.
