Norman ASA has signed a contract with a major US based IT company licensing Norman’s malware analyzer products.

The name of the customer will remain undisclosed, however it is identified as a global provider of IT security and service.

The majority of customers purchasing Norman’s analysis technology prefer to remain anonymous, because they do not wish to provide data criminals with information of which security software are being used.

The contract represents revenue of USD 150,000 over a 12 months period with option for extension. The customer will use Norman SandBox Analyzer and Analyzer PRO to identify and analyze malware behaviour.

Since the analyzer products were launched last fall, Norman has sold these to several national security agencies and defense institutions as well as a number of major corporations. A large group of corporations and national security agencies are currently conducting trials with Norman’s new product line.
