Flash is used on millions of web sites to display advertisements and other elements that require special functionality that flash supports. A Flash plug-in is therefore available for most modern web browsers and operating systems.
Critical vulnerabilities have been identified in Adobe's Flash Player plugin and Adobe Air. These vulnerabilities could cause the applications to crash and potentially also allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.
Patches for these vulnerabilities are available. More information with links to updates are available in Adobe's security bulletin 19/2009.
Norman recommends that you update your Adobe Flash Player / Adobe Air installation as soon as possible.
