Problem description
When starting a manual virus scan the scan Windows stops responding for several seconds before the actual scanning starts.
Problem solution
When starting a manual scan, the scanner engine is initialized and the virus definition files are loaded into memory. This operation will take several seconds, and the scan window might appear to be hanging. We will in the near future release an update that solves this by using a different approach to memory management.
