Here you will find the latest version of the program that completely removes Norman Virus Control version 5 / Norman Security Suite from your computer (Windows version only).
Problem solution
There are several ways to uninstall Norman Virus Control (NVC) version 5.x / Norman Security Suite (NSS)
- The most common procedure is by selecting Add or Remove programs from the Control panel in Windows. Highlight Norman Virus Control / Norman Security Suite and select Change/Remove. Then select Remove from the uninstall dialog. We recommend that the computer is restarted after uninstall.
- Run the program DelNVC5.exe to uninstall Norman Virus Control / Norman Security Suite from a computer.
You will find DelNVC5.exe in the ...\norman\nvc\bin directory of your installation or you may download it from the link below.
Usage:
No parameters:
A dialog asking if you want to Repair or Remove the installation is displayed. Select Remove to start the uninstall process.
Optional parameter:
either: /quiet that starts the removal of NVC / NSS in quiet mode (no GUI)
Example: delnvc5 /quiet
or: [path], which is the path to the NVC / NSS installation directory. If this path is not correctly given, the program tries to uninstall from Norman’s installation directory. Runs in quiet mode.
