Problem description
When running Norman Internet Update, I get the following error message:
Configuration error: Requested component files are either nonexisting or inconsistent with your authentication key.
Problem solution
This means that you are trying to update a Norman product on a platform that you are not licensed for, or that your authentication key contains wrong license data. The error will for example occur if you try to update a server, and your authentication key covers workstations only.
Please submit your authentication key to Norman for verification if you are certain that you have a license for the actual platform you want to download NVC updates for. If you don't have a license for the specific platform, please contact Norman or one of our resellers to get a license offer.
