I have updated my installation of my Norman product, but still the application says the scanner engine is not up to date

Problem description

The error message

The scanner engine is not up to date

persists even if the Norman application is updated.

Problem solution

This problem often occurs if the date the computer is wrong. Check your computer's date and, if wrong, adjust it to the correct date. In most cases, this will fix the problem.

Also, make sure that you have in fact updated your application (right-click on the Norman-icon at the bottom right of the screen and select Internet Update).
